“ I’m going to daycare: My first flap book” by Sonja Filer (text) and Barbara Jelenkovich (illustrations) is currently a hit with my son, as he has been going to daycare since August.
The manufacturer recommends the book for children ag 1 to 3 years. In my opinion, it is worth reading when kindergarten is approaching – whenever that may be.
You can find out the advantages and disadvantages of the flap book in the following review.
I’m Going to Nursery: My First Pop-Up Book
>>>>We were given “I’m going to daycare: My first pop-up book” * when our little one start going to daycare at the age of 1 year and 5 months.</p>
He currently spends 3 hours in kindergarten, and he is settling in really well, meaning he really enjoys going there and feels comforta
ble. Saying goodbye isn’t difficult either, even though he’s showing his skills, because he has very loving, sensitive people in his group and a whole lot of new things to discover.
Nevertheless, I thought it was great to be able to read a book about kindergarten with my son at home.
And lo and behold: he loves it. Although I had to swallow hard at some of the pages at the beginning and was afraid of how he might react. But read for yourself…
What is it about?
This flap book tells the story of the daily routine of a belize mobile database kindergarten boy nam Noah. Noah doesn’t go to kindergarten from morning to night, but is pick up after his afternoon nap, but even he experiences a lot in this short time.
When we read aloud, we simply chang the names. Noah became Oli and Ina, his teacher, became his caregiver, whom he loves very much.

Daycare is not always peace joy and happiness
>>>I mention at the beginning that I was hesitant about the happy company 3 keys to companies where people fall in love reading some passages. There are scenes in which Noah is push by a girl because she wants to play the same game as him. In another scene, a little boy is crying and nes to be comfort.
But it’s true: Day-to-day life in a daycare center isn’t always 1000 mobile phone numbers all peace and harmony. Children may cry bitterly when they say goodbye, or they may argue or even hit each other. There are tears, there is anger, and not everything is always sunshine and roses. Looking back, I think that’s what makes this book so wonderfully honest. You shouldn’t deceive children, you should just be honest and describe life as it is – in all its facets.
In my opinion, this also includes the fact that there is semolina porridge for lunch and Noah doesn’t like semolina porridge. That’s just the way it is. I don’t think it’s a good idea that Noah tries it anyway because everyone else eats the semolina porridge, because I have a different opinion on the subject of trying food, but never mind. But I do like the overall picture of everyone sitting together at the table and the children eating on their own. Then a spoon falls on the floor, then there’s a spill, because practice makes perfect.
